Rain of Fire Origin
The history of the band can be traced back to the mid 70's when bassist John, and guitarist Larry met in High School, and played in local
cover bands. They started out playing Parties, Jr High, and High School Concerts. One amazing show they did at the West Babylon
Jr High back in the 70s was when they brought all their High School friends down to the Jr High for one crazy show in the
West Babylon Jr High Gym. The band had flash pods! And other crazy Rock & Roll stunts ready to impress their
high school buddies. The band played classic's from bands such as; Kiss, Thin Lizzy, Angel, Rush, Led Zeppelin, and Black
Sabbath. John thought He was Gene Simmons and decides to Blow Flames! He threw the lighter onto the wrestling mats, which
caught fire. Needless to say, the school called the cops on us, the principal was going crazy, we got out of there as fast
as we could. This was the beginning of one crazy rock and roll ride. Both John, and Larry went on in the 80s to front full
on Rock/Metal bands.

Wolfe & Attila
This lead to record
deals, touring, and good ole bang your head rockin good times. By the end of the 80s the Rock/Metal scene was on a decline.
Both John and Larry decided it was time to move on.
Move forward to early 2000, members of the ole stomping ground
West Babylon decided a reunion was in store. Plans were set to have a reunion at a local club. The band decided to get back
together, which reunited John and Larry.
All they needed now was a drummer. Thanks to long time friend Lorraine G. for
getting us a kick-ass drummer.
Nick from Earth Eatz Dog filled in, and was awesome.
The Reunion was a great time for all. The band played a set of classic rock and metal.
Some of the pictures from this event are in the photo section. The band went on to open shows for Earth Eatz Dog. This lasted
throughout the winter and spring of 2003 with Nick filling in on drums till we could get a drummer.
A long time friend, Jimmy joined the band on drums in June of 2003. Jimmy played his first gig on the 4th
of July. This finalized the band lineup.
